The first post

Welcome to the blog of Krysell Interior Design, and to this first post.

Firstly, I considered whether to write this in English or Swedish, and as you can tell I settled on English. This is because I really want to reach as many people as possible with my message, which feels universal. I am based in Sweden (for now) and I would like to take this moment to applaud the Swedish population for our widespread knowledge of the English language, go us! I hope all my locals will bare with.

So what is the message and why did I start this interior design studio?

To put it simply, I felt there were quite a few gaps I needed to bridge. Things about interior design and living that I am so passionate about but that I hadn’t previously seen being harmoniously worked together, sometimes even seeming contradicting.

For example, I am most passionate about history, which naturally comes with sustainability - another one of my passions. However I also wish to use my understanding of minimalism and it's benefits, aswell as a will to further develop the field of disability friendly, functional interior design. All these interests of mine seemed so far apart, and I realised I had to be the one to put it all together.

With my designs I want to prove that a love of the old and modern development can exist in the same space, while considering all things mental and physical health as well as the earth's continued wellbeing. I hope you will follow me along on this journey.
